No dark fate determines the future. We do. Each day and each moment, we are able to create and re-create our lives and the very quality of human life on our planet. This is the power we yield.

I grew up on the East Coast and moved to Ohio in 2012 while serving in the Air Force.  I retired after 20 years of military service and decided to change paths and study Acupuncture. Over the years I have found amazing support for my own medical conditions through acupuncture, yoga, massage, and many other forms of complementary and alternative medicine.  I'm so pleased that I can now bring these practices to others.

Deirdre Huang, LAc.

I grew up in Worthington and went to Miami University of Ohio for my undergrad. While studying abroad in India, I was fortunate enough to take a course in Tibetan medicine. I was enamored with how effective holistic medicine could be and appreciative that my teacher encouraged us to recognize the strength of combining eastern and western medicine.

After graduation, I worked in banking for several years, but my heart was never in it. In 2019, I finally decided to pursue a career in acupuncture and have received additional training in reiki, yoga, reflexology, fire cupping, and electro-acupuncture therapy. Now, I look forward to supporting my community by providing these treatment options at Balance Integrative Wellness.
